David Grigsby

AIA, LEED AP®

David Grigsby brings his experience as a project architect—leading a design team, establishing goals and working towards excellence in design—to his current role as a design process advocate focusing on project execution, best practices, project planning and quality management across all projects in all phases of design. David’s involvement in complex design projects over the past 24 years, including his understanding of design detailing and project planning within large and small projects, applies equally to creating efficiencies and rigor in our daily practice.  Consensus-building and collaboration with teams and clients inspires his daily work. David’s notable projects include the Oregon Health & Science University Biomedical Research Building; expansions to Portland International Airport; and award-winning facilities for Providence Portland Medical Center. David is LEED accredited, an active member of the American Institute of Architects, CSI and NCARB’s Architects Licensing Advisors Community, diligently promoting internship development initiatives within the firm. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and serves on the Dean’s Leadership Council for the College of Architecture.
