Greg McCants
AIA
Greg McCants was first inspired to become an architect while exploring the wooded areas near his childhood home in Georgia. This experience studying how light and shadow alter color, and how the texture and spatial quality of natural forms differ based on the time of day and season, has contributed to his desire to create spaces that lift the spirit. As a Principal in the Los Angeles office, Greg brings his 42 years of professional experience to the programming, planning, technical design, and project administration of a broad range of building types, including academic, healthcare, hospitality, retail, residential, and corporate facilities. He has served as the Project Manager for diverse clients, including the University of California, San Diego; California Lutheran University; Cedars-Sinai; and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Greg holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His time away from the office is dedicated to his volunteer work with Guide Dogs for the Blind.
