Jason Kasparek is an architect and a Principal in ZGF’s Washington, DC office with over 14 years of experience on diverse projects for academic and healthcare institutions, and commercial and governmental clients. With each endeavor, he is inspired by the opportunity to innovate and push the boundaries of building performance, particularly with regard to user experience, occupant health, worker productivity, and energy consumption. Jason works closely with owners to create environments that uniquely respond to their needs and goals. His collaborative approach and leadership ability has resulted in notable buildings and campuses for Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the University of Texas at Arlington, and the U.S. General Services Administration, Department of Homeland Security. Passionate about sustainable building practices, Jason is a member and past co-chair of the AIA|DC High Performance Building Committee. He received both his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture with a Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Cincinnati.
