Jed Edeler

Drawing on his diverse background in architecture, construction, and woodworking, Jed Edeler is a skilled designer, technical detailer, and project manager who applies a hands-on and engaged approach when leading project teams. A Principal in ZGF’s Washington, DC office, Jed is committed to delivering the highest-quality possible design solution to meet the project goals. Jed has managed and led projects including workplace design, laboratory research, higher-education, federal laboratories and government facilities. Notable projects have included projects on the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters at St. Elizabeths West Campus; The University of Texas at Arlington, Science and Engineering Innovation and Research Building; District Department of Transportation, Car Barn Training Center; and the Wexford Science & Technology, LLC. University of Pittsburgh, Immune Transplant Therapy Center. With each project, Jed is inspired to exceed expectations by developing creative solutions that overcome perceived limitations and constraints. He thrives on pushing the potential of each project, and maximizing design opportunities. Jed received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Montana and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington. He has lived and worked in Washington, DC, Seattle, and the Netherlands.
