Renee Kajimoto
AIA, LEED AP®
Renee Kajimoto appreciates the challenges and rewards of designing research laboratory facilities. With over 40 years of experience, she possesses a depth of expertise in these programs, as well as other academic, office, medical, and public projects. Renee has an aptitude for solving technical problems with a collaborative spirit that reflects her enjoyment of working alongside clients, design colleagues, and builders. She is an avid world traveler whose explorations have informed a diversity of approaches to building envelope systems and material applications. Renee has led technical design teams on a number of projects for Stanford University, including the net-positive Central Energy Facility, the Lorry I. Lokey Stem Cell Research Building, and a new campus in Redwood City. She has also been an instrumental team member on interdisciplinary research buildings at the University of California, San Diego; the University of California, Berkeley; and the University of Washington. She has served the profession as a member of the Oregon Building Officials Association Advisory Board, the City of Portland Advisory Board for Special Inspections, and was on the Board of Directors of the AIA Portland Chapter. Renee received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
