Bob Packard served as ZGF’s Managing Partner for nearly three decades where he was responsible for directing the firm's strategic, financial and operational activities. Today he continues to serve as Partner-in-Charge for projects throughout the world. This has included such projects as Children's Hospital Colorado and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8 Headquarters in Denver; the Twelve | West Mixed-Use Building in Portland; the Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda; as well as projects for the Port of Portland and the U.S. Department of State. Bob has actively worked within the profession to promote and encourage design excellence. He is former chair of the AIA Large Firm Roundtable and has served on numerous other national boards as well as civic and educational organizations. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Willamette University, and Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado, College of Environmental Design.
