Mark Gesinger is a senior healthcare designer in the Seattle office with 25 years of experience. Beginning his career as a medical student before pursuing architecture, Mark is particularly sensitive to architecture’s ability to support the care of patients and to deliver healing environments for staff, patients, and their families. Mark has served in a leadership capacity on numerous healthcare projects and has worked with administrators, physicians, and staff to incorporate Lean strategies into the planning and design of award-winning healthcare facilities in order to improve operational and organizational efficiencies. His clients include Seattle Children’s, The Everett Clinic, Catholic Health Initiatives, and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Mark is active in the Washington / Oregon Architecture for Health Panel and has volunteered in the Trauma Unit of Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. Mark received a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington.
