Nancy Fishman has been responsible for marketing and public relations in the architectural profession for over 30 years. During her tenure with ZGF, she has worked in the firm’s Portland and Seattle offices as Marketing Director. Her role as Principal has evolved into one with firmwide responsibilities, coordinating with marketing directors in ZGF’s five offices to oversee marketing and communications, and developing strategic partnerships. She continues to support specific business development opportunities, as well as fundraising and branding programs for clients. Upon graduating from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Nancy worked for five years as a reporter and editor for the Daily Journal of Commerce in Portland, primarily covering the design profession and construction industry. This background provided a natural segue into the field of architecture. She is past president of the Oregon Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, and has served on the boards of community organizations related to the arts, education and women’s health. She is currently on the board of the Halprin Fountain Conservancy and a Volunteer Grant Evaluator for the Oregon Community Foundation.
