AIA, LEED AP® BD+C
Tim Williams, Partner, who recently relocated from ZGF’s Seattle office to the Washington, D.C. office, plays an instrumental role in the development of landmark projects for cities, universities, and corporations across the country. A common thread in his work is successfully managing the design of complex and flexible facilities that advance innovation, collaboration, historic restoration, and sustainability. Some of Tim’s most notable recent projects include: the LEED Platinum® historic restoration of Seattle’s King Street Station, a recipient of both the AIA National Institute Honor Award for Architecture and the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s National Preservation Honor Award; the LEED Gold® Molecular Engineering & Sciences Building at the University of Washington; the Nintendo of America Headquarters; and the Cascade Bicycle Club Headquarters, recipient of an AIA Seattle Honor Award. Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Kenyon College and his Master of Architecture from the University of Washington.
