This month, ZGF is kicking off a 10-week virtual institute in response to the loss of traditional internship opportunities here at ZGF and across the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand the importance of the education, experience, mentorship and future job prospects gained during student internships with design firms.
With that in mind, we created a virtual program for current students and recent graduates to connect with ZGF, meet industry professionals, collaborate with colleagues and peers both in and out of ZGF while gaining insights into the various facets of ZGF’s projects, and learn more about becoming a design professional.
We have extended the invitation to 60 students that we were hoping to bring into ZGF across the firm over the summer. These students are comprised of:
- Students from our university outreach efforts
- Our HBCU intern students, past and present
- The ZGF Scholarship winner
- The AIA National COTE intern
- NOMA Fellows Interns through the NOMA President’s Circle
We will be sharing student highlights and stories from the program along the way and look forward to having many of our ZGF staff participate in the programming.
In the meantime, take a look back at our Summer Intern Roundtable series from across the firm last year (links below).
