Kate Freels
Kate Freels is a go-getter who knows how to go with the flow. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic topographies of Seattle—peaks, valleys, waterways and all—she approaches each project through the lens of the natural environment. Kate’s ability to bring together diverse stakeholders and lead teams to deliver exceptional projects while pushing the envelope on sustainability speaks to her dynamic approach. Kate is a founding member of ZGF’s Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy Group, a firmwide group initiated in 2013 to champion gender and racial equity in the workplace and across the AEC industry. She has also represented ZGF at the AIA Women’s Leadership Summit, advocating for solutions for gender parity in the profession.
