Kalan Beck
Kalan Beck grew up on a sugar beet farm in south-central Idaho, where he developed a pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving that continues to shape his work as an architect. During his career, Kalan has worked across several ZGF offices, bringing a broad perspective shaped by different places, people and experiences. He is drawn to making things, whether sketching by hand, building a physical model, or working with materials in his shop. Kalan approaches each project as a collaborative and iterative process, working with clients and teams to test ideas, solve challenges, and arrive at thoughtful and effective solutions.
