Architectural Record shared the news that ZGF teamed with Barcelona-based firms MIRAG/Double Twist has been selected to design the Mercat del Peix Research Center in Barcelona, Spain. The design of the 100% mass timber laboratory will exemplify sustainable building techniques unique to laboratory buildings while simultaneously uniting global experts in the experimental sciences, social sciences, and humanities to address the world’s most complex and vexing climate challenges.
