Fast Company Names Portland International Airport Best Design in North America

Fast Company has named Portland International Airport as the Best Design in North America in their 2025 Innovation by Design Awards!

Every year, Fast Company editors pore over thousands of applications from the brightest minds in design and business looking for projects with a spark of ingenuity—something that solves a problem, improves a product, or pushes people, companies, and industries to shape the world for the better.  

The Portland Airport was honored with the 2025 title of Best Design North America for providing “an airport expansion that features sustainably sourced wood roofing, transforming the terminal experience into something that feels more like a walk in a forest.”
