Dan Simpson

Dan Simpson’s colleagues like to say that he can sketch a concept faster than anybody can verbalize it. According to Dan, he’s both an artist and a scientist. He loves that architecture is rational and methodical, yet conceptual and open to interpretation. A true veteran in the industry, Dan has built his career over the last four decades taking complex projects from concept to completion. His commitment to design excellence and sensitivity to materials, building systems and technologies has earned him several design awards from the AIA and other organizations. He is highly regarded by clients and colleagues for his ability to listen and synthesize design criteria, from complex programs to challenging sites and budget constraints. He has also taught architectural design and served as a visiting critic at academic institutions in Washington, Virginia and Massachusetts.

Bachelor of Science, Architectural Studies, Washington State University
