Ryan Cheng
Ryan Cheng draws inspiration from the three major cities around him: Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver, BC. He loves observing their growth and transformation over time, and how their architecture, infrastructure, and transportation complement yet compete with one another. In his project work, Ryan views each challenge as an opportunity that defines the boundaries for creative discoveries. The most rewarding aspect is collaborating with clients and stakeholders to generate a calibrated, yet practical design response to the complex and often conflicting project demands through iterative explorations. His wide-ranging experience includes projects in transit, healthcare, institutional, residential, and commercial sectors.
